Canton Concierge (“we”, “us”) is a China Business Concierge providing on-the-ground business execution support to international companies. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, where it is stored, and the rights you have over it. It applies to this website and to the support we deliver.

1. Data we collect

We only collect what you choose to share or what is needed to respond to your request:

• Assessment & booking form — the support requirements, business goals, customer type, time frame, engagement model, location and dates you select in our China Support Assessment, plus any name, company and email you provide.
• Direct contact — your name, company, email and message when you email us, message us on WhatsApp, or use the contact options on this site.
• Technical & analytics data — if you accept cookies, we load web fonts from Google Fonts and may use privacy-respecting analytics. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. How we use your data

• To prepare and deliver your recommended China support plan and the services you book.
• To communicate with you about your enquiry, meetings, factory visits and verification work.
• To protect both parties through our standard NDA and secure handling of supplier information.
• To improve the site and our services (only with your consent for analytics).

3. Legal basis (GDPR)

For visitors in the European Union, we rely on consent (for non-essential cookies and analytics) and on legitimate interest / taking steps at your request before entering a contract (for enquiries and booked services). You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Storage, location & retention

Enquiry and booking data is processed and stored on secure business systems used by our team. We retain enquiry records only as long as necessary to serve you and to meet our professional and tax obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Google Fonts

This site uses Google Fonts (Playfair Display and Inter) for typography. Fonts are loaded from fonts.googleapis.com only after you accept cookies. If you decline, the site uses system fonts and no request is made to Google. Google’s font delivery may process your IP address; see Google’s Privacy Policy for details.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”), subject to legal retention needs.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
